The rubber overlay is a game changer for wet weather walks, mud wipes right off and the polyester underneath stays spotless. My pup seems comfortable in it too, no rubbing at all.

My dog rolls in mud every single walk and I just hose this harness off and it looks brand new again. The rubber overlay feels sturdy without being stiff, and the polyester underneath hasn't shown any wear after a month of daily use.

Took this out in a downpour last week and the rubber overlay kept the polyester underneath completely dry, which is exactly what I needed for a muddy trail dog. Cleanup was just a quick hose-off and shake, no scrubbing or smells left behind. Definitely the most low-maintenance harness I’ve owned.
