The elastic webbing actually does what it says—my pup lunges after squirrels and I barely feel the jerk anymore. The padded handle is also a lifesaver on long walks; no more rope burn halfway through.
My dog used to choke herself on walks, but the padded handle and absorbent webbing make even her lunging feel like a gentle tug. It's so light I forget it's clipped on, and my arm doesn't ache after our morning runs.
