I was honestly surprised how plush the polyester feels against my hand - even on a long walk when the leash is fully taut, it never digs in. The hook locks so securely that my escape-artist pup hasn't managed to slip it once.
The hook locks with such a satisfying click, and the soft polyester feels so gentle on my hand even when my pup pulls. I've gone through a few leashes that frayed or snapped, but this one feels solid and comfortable for our daily walks.
