My dog used to jerk my shoulder every time he spotted a squirrel, but this leash's spring absorbs the pull so smoothly I barely feel it. The build feels solid too, and the shock absorption makes our walks way more relaxed for both of us.

First walk with this leash and I actually felt the spring do its thing—my 70-pound lab lunged at a squirrel and the shock just dissolved instead of yanking my shoulder. It’s noticeably smoother than any flat leash I’ve owned, and the metal hardware feels solid enough to last years.

The spring in this leash genuinely does its job—my 70-pound lab pulls hard on walks and I no longer feel the jarring yank through my shoulder. It's built solidly too, with a comfortable grip that hasn't worn out after a month of daily use.
