The squeaker inside the rubber core is still going strong after two weeks of daily tug-of-war, which never happens with our chewer. He loves that he can rip off the plush outer layer and still have the inner toy to chase around.
My dog usually destroys plush toys in under an hour, but this one’s got a tough rubber core hiding inside that he actually has to work to get to. The squeaker still works after a week of aggressive play, which is a record for us.
The two-in-one design is clever—once the plush gets chewed up, the rubber toy inside still holds up and squeaks. My pup went through the outer layer faster than I hoped, but the inner core is getting plenty of use.
