The ripstop material has held up perfectly through two weeks of nightly use with my dog jumping on and off, and a quick wipe handles any muddy paw prints. Water just beads right off, which is exactly what I needed for a bed that sits near the back door.
Mesh sides make a huge difference for airflow, and the ripstop surface wiped clean in seconds after a spill. Haven't seen a single scratch on it yet, so it's doing its job well.
